Resilience

Resilience

Hello Friends, Family and our Greater Community,

Here comes fall and a new normal for many of us trying to continue distance learning for ourselves or our children. One thing we really wanted to highlight in this month’s newsletter is our resilience and strength. Through all of the current events that are and have happened over these last 6 months, we have found a new level of grit and determination to get us through. While I know much of our current circumstance is far less than ideal for many of us, it has also been an opportunity for growth and reconnection that we may have not taken otherwise.

I have been continually impressed and humbled to see the progress of the social justice movements happening across our country. There has long been a need for reflection on systemic power structures that benefit very few. While you or I may not support every route of movement towards that goal, there is a deep understanding that we cannot truly be living our highest self until we reckon with our complex past and seek real equality for everyone.

You are strong, your voice and your choices matter. You have come through a lot and are finding resilience in ways that you may have never dreamed. Take a moment to feel that empowerment. Take a moment to visualize your journey, your lessons, and your life’s true path. You were born for these times. You are powerful beyond measure. Step in to your calling and own your power.
