Dr. Meghan Bennett is a board certified naturopathic physician, having attended the National University of Natural Medicine, in Portland, Oregon. She has also been a member of the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She is originally from the Metro-Detroit area of Michigan, where she earned her bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Women’s Studies. In 2010, Dr. Bennett completed a global health course in Nicaragua with Natural Doctors International. Dr. Bennett also has specialized training in Holistic Pelvic Care ™.
Dr. Bennett has a passion for working to empower people to take control of their own health through natural medicine. She has special interests in women’s health, hormone balancing, and gastrointestinal health; utilizing nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and physical medicine. There are, of course, times where pharmaceutical medications are indicated as well. While in school, Dr. Bennett focused a large part of her clinical studies in community health. In addition to private practice, she has worked at Mercy & Wisdom a community health clinic, in an effort to continue to make naturopathic health care accessible to all people.
In her spare time, Dr. Bennett enjoys baking grain free muffins with her young son Isaac, going on family hikes in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and crocheting on quiet nights at home.
